MR. ASHFAQUR RAHMAN
CEO & Managing Director
Mr. Ashfaqur Rahman is the leader of the Octopi team. An IT maverick by profession, he holds over twenty years of experience in technology-centric entrepreneurship. He is the Managing Director of one of the largest Software Development and Business Process Outsourcing firms in Bangladesh, which operates as part of a joint venture with its US-based counterpart. Mr. Rahman is also engaged in a diverse range of other businesses, particularly in the agriculture sector. His aggressive pursuit of perfection and outstanding leadership skills have never failed to bring him success. Mr. Rahman holds Bachelor’s Degree in Computing & Information Systems from University of London. He also completed training on Business development in the United States.
Mr. Partha Salahuddin
Mr. Partha Salahuddin, as the Consultant for Octopi, is responsible for championing the long-term Strategic Growth Agenda for the agency and for strengthening its existing Client-Centric Operational Excellence within the organization.
He brings with him 18 Years of core Branding and Marketing experience, which includes – developing new categories and managing existing brands for Unilever Bangladesh; setting-up and leading Ogilvy & Mather Advertising and RedWorks in Bangladesh as their founding CEO; and consulting for numerous leading domestic companies across different industries.
Partha is a business graduate from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA, DU) and completed his MBA from Mississippi State University with Distinctions. He interned for Rolls-Royce North America and worked for MCI WorldCom Inc. in their International Marketing division where he looked after the Asia Pacific Region.
Partha also volunteers as an Advisor for SSKS School of Hope which operates two primary schools for underprivileged slum children of Dhaka city.
Mr. RAKESH CHAKRAVORTY
Director- Business Development
Mr. Rakesh Chakravorty have a professional experience for around 17 years on the field of Advertising, Project Management, Rural Marketing, Supply & Procurement. In his career, he has held a higher managerial position in some renowned agencies and accomplished various projects like, Developed the national communication campaign on Earthquake Awareness in Bangladesh for UNDP and Government of Bangladesh in 2016, Implemented Tiger Caravan Campaign for USAID’s Bagh Activity in 43 districts in 2016, Associate Project Head of Sisimpur, Bangladesh, led the 5-years campaign on sustainability for co-management of integrated protected area conservation nationally and site specific activities Campaign, Headed 2 years country operation of Asiatic JWT in Afghanistan to execute two national campaigns “Universal Salt Iodation (UNICEF-Afghanistan) and Safe Motherhood Initiative (UNICEF-Afghanistan) 2003-2005.

Md. Ehsan Ali is a professional having Chartered Accountancy Course Completed from leading CA firm Rahman Rahman Huq. In his last 17 years of experience he served many local and multinational companies like Beximco Pharma, Cairn Energy Sangu Field Limited, Meghna Energy Limited, Isoulx Corsan etc. His specialization in Financial Management, Internal Audit and system implementation helps the organization in the bottom line. His leadership quality focused in various ways in different previous organizations. He believes in team work and put his effort for quality output. He took part in various training program around the globe and contribute in financial system development.
MILON KUMAR BISWAS

Mr. Khalil is in charge of business operation and development of this organization. Before joining here he worked with GREY Group, Abdul Monem Limited, Dhaka Bank Limited, Bitopi Advertising in senior positions. He has a sound professional record as well as academic background. He is a business graduate from North South University and done his MBA from American International University Bangladesh. More than 12 years he is working with ownership and delivers the best for the client. He is qualified brand strategist with the quality of multi-dimensional creative idea.
MD. WAHIDUR RAHMAN
Director, Admin & Finance
Mr. Wahid leads on all operational aspects of Octopi to allow the team to focus on the technical content and offering top quality service to the clients and partners. He has over 12 years of experience in administration, Finance and HR activities and can direct complex projects with great ease from concept to full execution. Prior to joining Octopi, Mr. Wahid worked with a couple of national and international companies with the associated departmental functions.
MD. MAMUNUR RASHID
Mr. Mamun is a trimmed activation person with a long experience in the industry. His different managerial position in some renowned activation agencies exposed him as an expert in this arena.
He loves to lead the team as a simple team mate and drive the force for a better outcome. His main priority is the honesty, loyalty and quality. He is mainly a key strategy implementer.
Head of Planning & Strategy
Imtiaz is an enthusiast of brand building strategies.
He started off his career with Champs21.com – a e-learning initiative of The Daily Star where he was one of the key men in designing and implementing the nation’s first spelling TV reality show, The Daily Star Spelling Bee.
From there on he worked in various advertising agencies like Grey Advertising Bangladesh Limited and Asiatic Experiential Marketing Limited enabling him to work with different multinational and local brands. Prior to joining Octopi Ltd. Imtiaz worked in Aponjon, a USAID project implemented by Dnet, as the marketing lead which is also the largest mHealth service worldwide.
